POWER:  There are no open work orders. We are experiencing a substantial number of layoffs and anticipate that this will continue well into the year. The 2024 work outlook in Local 51’s jurisdiction is not very promising as there is limited work on the horizon.

LINE CLEARANCE:  At this time, work remains steady in the jurisdiction for line clearance.

GETTING ON THE BOOKS - VERY IMPORTANT:

If you are interested in working in LU 51, GET ON THE BOOKS. All individuals are required to get on the books in person initially and at least once per year thereafter. 

If you have met the in-person requirements, you may re-sign online by visiting the IBEW51.org website. The form can be found under the JOBS TAB titled GET ON THE BOOKS.
